The only bad points i can really say are the EVF and LCD panel aren't up to much. Can't really use it above iso200.
General Comments
I bought s3 is after reading some reviews on the internet, and the fact that it got 10 out of 10 in one review. This is my first digital camera and i must say i'm very pleased with it, even though it only has 6 megapixels the image quality is amazing to say the least.Being a compact it only has a small sensor so the 6 megapixel seems to work really well, sometimes manufacturers can get a bit carried away with pixel count, but the truth is too much pixels on a small sensor can lead to some noisy pictures. I've only had this camera for about 3 days but so far it ticks all the right boxes for me until i get a dslr, i would've given it 10/10 but there was some things that i thought let it down. The LCD panel is a bit on the small side and it only has about 115,000 pixel resulutions, and it makes adjusting the camera in manual mode a bit of a challange because the image isn't very good colour wise to look at. The same can be said about the electronic view finder (EVF),when i look through it,it looks like it's in black and white with just a slight hint of colour. The pictures are outstanding as long as you keep below ISO 200 for general pictures,i try to stay around the 80-100 ISO setting and the pictures are spot on.I bought this for £120 and that was new (last few in the shop needed to clear)which i thought was a bargain so i can't complain about that,i'm not sure if i would pay what they originally go for, £220? i think.I would rather save up another £150 or so and get a dslr. All in all i think it is an excellent camera with loads of features and i would recomend it 100%
