General Comments

The store was in McArthurGlen, off Junction 28 of the M1.

Having chosen our suits and paid in full for the suit hire, we were told to return at a later date for measurements. We made our appointment and turned up on time. My father-in-law and I were told to hang fire because the assistant was serving someone else. We were then kept waiting for thirty minutes with no explanation or apology. The assistant then advised us to go and have a look around the shopping centre as it was going to take a while. I pointed out that we had already been waiting for half an hour, despite having an appointment. It was only when I suggested that I might leave that he bothered checking the diary and discovered a double booking. I said that we would rather have a refund than be kept waiting any longer. This took a further twenty minutes. The staff attitude seemed to be that it was our hard luck that they had made an error. I took my refund and went to Slaters Formal Hire where I was served with courtesy and had finished my transaction within thirty minutes.
