Good Points

Canceling my halifax card was straight forward.


Bad Points

They have reduced my credit limit to 3/4 of what it was originally and i am concerned this will also affect my credit score. Their call back helpline is a premium rate number. They are not open to any calls on weekends. They have also disabled my 12 months interest free repayments offer. I have canceled my card and they still call me even on weekends even though their offices are apparently closed.


General Comments

I have a similar story with Halifax one card, last month I made a 4 figure purchase on my card with in my credit limit. I received my bill, sent and electronic transfer the same day to repay the amount in full. The money was transferred and received by Halifax within 2 working days. For the past week I have been contacted every day by a half witted representative asking me to make a payment although I do not owe them a penny.
