Good Points
A good looking machine, handles quite well, lots of storage space especially since I added a Givi back box. It, s so easy to keep clean, as I use the scoot in all weathers it, s a wipe over with a sponge, compared to my old CB500. Fuel consumption is at least 65 mpg riding steadily. The overall finish is very good mine is 6 years old and it looks great, in fact people have commented it only looks a year or two old if that.

Bad Points
I find the brakes a little vague, but I don ' t thrash it so they suffice. I believe they have been upgraded on newer models mine is a 2003 AN400. My speedometer sensor has just failed at 20K these things happen, but it ' s a very awkward job refitting the front wheel, not a job I would relish by the side of the road on a dark, wet night. The handling is typically scooterish, a bit unsteady round bends at speed. So take it easy.

General Comments
I have owned the Burgman for 5 months and have really enjoyed it. A simple machine, just check your oil, coolant and tyres regularly. I travel 17 miles each way to work using the A19 or the A1M and it is not shown up by other road users. In fact when I forget to look at the speedy meter it gives the tin can drivers a bit of a shock, they certainly don ' t like being overtaken by a scoot! I am so impressed I am looking to go for a more recent model, if I get the same color my wife wont notice.
