Lofer, Haus Patricia Review

Nice house in a nice location.

We stayed here at the end of the summer season and felt that owner enthusiasm had perhaps run out.

We were on our own here at the Haus Patricia for a couple of days after the other guests had left and felt as if we were somehow an inconvenience - in fact, so much so, that we left 2 days early because we felt quite uncomfortable.
During our first few days (when there were other guests) we had a good selection of breads provided at breakfast, yet when we were on our own this dwindled down to some bread rolls (Semmels). These are fine, but you can't put them in the toaster!
Overall, we think some imagination might be utilised where breakfast is concerned - some eggs might be nice once in a while, or maybe some croissants - the breakfast was the same thing every day and after a week we were bored with it...We didn't expect a full English but some imagination would have been appreciated.
Ok if you're on a short break but not if you are expecting to stay a week or more.....

  I disagree with this review because...we have stayed on our own at the beginning and end of the Austria seasons and we received more attention because of being alone! breakfast was always tasty and we only had to ask!

  Sorry guest,I have to disagree with your review,and feel it is unfair and unjustified. We have stayed at House Patricia on several occasions and always found Richard and Amanda very hospitable. They always asked us if we wanted anything else for breakfast, my wife often has porridge, I have had eggs on occasion, however I did find the selection fine. I have recommended House Patricia to several other friends and relatives, all have been,all loved it, more than half have been back and are going again. Keep up the good work Amanda and Richard, don't change, the place or the breakfast its great, All the best, have a great Christmas,

  Have had two marvelous summer holidays at Haus Patricia - the staff could not have been more attentive. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble - their attitude is very positive, friendly and accommodating. Any personal likes/dislikes, foodwise, taken into account at breakfast, with alternatives to set menu if wished. Comments after our first holiday there had been taken onboard by the time our second holiday came around - this couple are friendly, honest and incredibly helpful. Would recommend Haus Patricia to everyone.

  I cant believe that a guest has said they felt unwelcome.It could not have been more the opposite.We have just returned from a week ski ing and nothing was too much trouble for them,whether it be booking evening restaurants,local knowledge,events or just a friendly chat.We cant wait to return.
