In 3 months they were unable to get us a mortgage, despite promising to sort everything out in a matter of days at our first meeting.
From the moment we paid their £499 fee they lost interest, not returning calls or emails.
They kept asking for evidence which had already been sent to them, never provided receipts for payment, even after asking for it!
They said a mortgage had been agreed and then came back with an offer which was 1/4 of what initially promised!
When we complained our broker's reply was "I have plenty of other applications to deal with"!
My advice: log onto a comparison website, find the cheapest deal and just walk into the branch or apply online. Faster and cheaper!
