General Comments
After reading some dire reviews regarding Pontins Blackpool, I regretted booking it and all the way down to Blackpool my heart was in my boots! On arrival I checked fairly quickly and went in hunt of our chalet. After searching the area for about half an hour, we eventually found out accommodation. I can honestly say I was utterly appalled!! I was expecting the room to be basic based on the price of the holiday but what I wasn't expecting was how dirty and smelly it would be. Having 2 babies and a five year old there was no way on earth was I going to let them anywhere near this dump!! I bundled them all off in the car back to reception. There was a queue a mile long all with complaints. I was offered another room on the same basis but I thought it would have been a waste of time as there were people who had two and three chalets and still disgusted. I eventually received a full refund. I was over the moon to say the least and the bed and breakfasts of Blackpool had never been so appealing.
