fuel consumption
general comfort
gear relations could be a little bit longer, specificaly in the fifth one
aerodinamicaly improveable (the wind sounds inside at high speed)
I am very happy with my BMW 320i. It has got things that could be improved, but it always happens with all the cars. The BMW 320i e36 is more comfortable than for example the audi A4 of 1996 (I have driven it). The series 3 e36 of BMW doesn't seem to be the excellent car it is when you drive it. In fact this is very similar in comfort, drive-pleasure, performance and general feeling to the new model (e46). It is worth buying an old BMW 3 series from friends or family.
