I wish there were some!


General Comments

From the moment I called the 24hour emergency line... disappointment!
I had a water leak from the boiler so called them up, they sent a plumber not a corgi registered engineer. I was told Corgi registered engineer will come next day... left water leak as it was. This was 24 hour EMERGENCY service.
Corgi Reg. Engineer attends next day he looks at the boiler and says he cant repair it and leaves, did not stop water leak. I called up Additions plus and they informed me that engineer who attends alone is not insured to climb into lofts to turn water off as he was not insured to climb ladder on his own! Why send them then!
They then told be they are awaiting engineer's report and I will have to wait. They will call me back.
5 days later... no calls... called them back and still awaiting report.
Day 7 they tell me that their engineer says boiler broken down as it was not serviced regularly... I told them it is incorrect as I have all my receipts for regular yearly services for last 6 years.
They said they will call back.
Day 7 they tell me it is not cost effective to repair the boiler and needed serial number to find out age of boiler.
Day 10 they tell me that boiler is over 15 years old and not covered in the policy.
Water was still leaking and will have to replace laminate flooring as well now.
In the end got it all repaired myself.
