Good Points

Most of the staff very friendly and helpful, good pools and beautiful beach

Bad Points

Food too much the same/repetition, not enough plainer choices for small children. No ice cream lollie ices in an all inclusive resort!!

General Comments

Overall we have had a fabulous holiday here, but just a few small points have niggled me enough to write this.
My little boy loved the food, plenty of bacon and eggs in the morning and burgers and chips or pasta at lunch! great, however my little girl is a different story! She ate very little all holiday and suffered from bad stomach ache as a result. There were not enough 'plain choices' for her to have. She was great the nights we booked into the Italian restaurant as she had spaghetti bolognaise but the other days were awful trying to find something for her to eat. To be honest 10 day was enough of the food and we were all glad to be coming home.
However the service in most of the restaurants was fab and the waiters really friendly, but the Bistro Bar was at the opposite end of the scale. We used this bar for an early tea one of the days we were going on a trip, and went for a sandwich about 6pm it took ages to get served and only when we went to the staff and asked if they could take an order. We then used this bar on the last day for sandwiches for lunch before we left. The coach was collecting us at 2.00 so we went in at 1pm, we ended up leaving with no sandwiches after asking the waiters several times, no food came, and the coach was here!! Starving kids and angry wife!! and had to spend 29 euros on rubbish food at the airport.
The rooms were great and kept immaculately clean by the cleaner who came in every day, restocked the fridge changed the towels and beds, this felt like a real treat not having to keep it clean myself!
On the months leading up to the holiday I had been saying to the kids 'you can go and get an ice cream or lolly whenever you like' but when we got there I was HORRIFIED TO DISCOVER THERE WERE NOT FACILITIES FOR THIS!! THE KIDS WERE DEVASTATED. It was only the last day we saw someone on the beach with a magnum! We asked where they got it from and there was a small freezer behind the beach bar with them in, at a charge of 2euros!
The other downside was the Diving centre. My husband and I are both qualified divers and intended to dive whilst there. The staff at the dive centre are really friendly and helpful and eager to get you on the trips etc. Sadly though they fail to tell you the prices properly and you get a nasty surprise on your bill when taxes and surcharges are added for certain dive sites (which were not told about when booked) there are no prices lists up for you to see this either. Our bill we were expecting for 6 dives between us we thought would be about 210 euros was 352 euros!! due to 60euros each surcharge for the trip and the dive tax. So make sure if you use them, you ask 'what is the total cost? are there any extras to pay? (I argued the point and got a 140euros refund).
So all in all a lovely holiday but several factors definitely left me feeling a bit disappointed. Not quite the 5 star luxury you are led to believe from the brochure.
