Good Points

> Loans and mortgages are supported by the bank's deposits.
All investments made by the bank adhere to strict ethical practices.

> They only charge £7.50 for unpaid direct debits/standing orders, bounced cheques and going overdrawn/above agreed overdraft.

> Online banking is simple and easy to use.


Bad Points

> Their customer service telephone line is only open weekday working hours.


General Comments

Reliance Bank is a very reliable and ethical bank to use - they give great PERSONAL customer service, and are also very prompt - it only took them 2 weeks to have my current account completely set up (including cheque book, visa debit card etc etc).
They are owned by The Salvation Army, and all profits go to futher that organisations charitable works - instead of paying a fat cat his multi-million pound bonus!
