Bad Points
Not customer-friendly. May be called First Choice but the customer does not get their first choice, far from it!
General Comments
Last year (2007) we stayed in a really nice place in Alykanas, Zante. It was called the White House Studios and the couple who run it, were brilliant. My youngest daughter and her boyfriend got engaged while we were there and they decided they would like to get married in Pigadakia,
This year the four of us went out to Zante, staying in Alykes, and we visited the White House where Pavlos kindly offered to sort out everything locally for them and to put on a party for them after the wedding. So shortly after we came home (15 Sept) my wife and the girls went into the travel agents to book for next year, having seen the White House Studios advertised in the brochure for 2009. They were told that no holidays to that accommodation were available and, strangely enough, First Choice refused to give a reason for this withdrawal. Holidays are available however for Laganas, Tsilivi, Kalamaki and Traganas. We were also advised that the accommodation we wanted in Alykanas could "possibly become available at a later date". Does this mean that First Choice are trying to dictate or reduce choice of resorts in an effort to fill other places first? Your guess is as good as mine. Needless to say, we won't be using First Choice at all from now on.
