The rooms were clean, spacious and the location in terms of local amenities was good.
Bad Points
The food was appalling. On the 2 times we frequented the evening buffet, the meat was dried out, the chips were anaemic and the only edible thing were the sliced tomatoes.
The staff are rather moody, you wont get a smile out of them, but you will get served.
The hotel itself is incredibly dated and run down. Things are clean, but the wear and tear is self-evident.
General Comments
We chose to go here for a cheap, last minute holiday and we got what we paid for. We wouldn't complain as the hotel was clean, we certainly didn't experience any noise, but I would think in the hight of season, this would be a good place only for the die-hard clubbers.
We stayed from 27 Sept to 4 Oct, and we had no disturbances at all save for the odd shouting from the beach late a night. But it soon quietened down.
If you want to go clubbing, then this is a great hotel to stay in since the strip is walking distance away.
If you want some good cheap food, then we'd recommend Tom Brown's cafe - there is one on the sea front and a couple more dotted around Magaluf and the food was excellent and cheap. But, don't expect anything authentically Spanish in this resort!
