Been a customer using Virgin net for over 6 years. Up until recently I have been a very happy customer. Excellent availability of service..
Bad Points
Since August have had two major outages lasting days. In both cases Virgin has been very slow to admit there has been a problem..
General Comments
In my opinion the latest failures aren't technically related, but are due to financial wrangling. I'm told rumours avail about Virgin companies and their high levels of debt. Whilst Virgin.net is not part of the virgin group, who knows if there are legacy problems.
Perhaps BT is a better option if one needs a reliable email service
