Slow, unhelpful, unknowledgeable, invisible, uncontactable in my opinion


General Comments

Too slow doing everything... mistakes made alot with my dealing - 5 months down the track I still cannot get anyone to set the card number selection on my on-line banking to correspond with my actual card so that I can activate the on-line payments facility. Every time I speak to someone about this I get a different answer and a different story, and then 2 weeks (2 weeks!!!) later I get something different in the post (a new card, a new number, a new chequebook); the only thing these items have in common is that they are NEVER the thing I was asking for. My 'business manager' is uncontactable when i have been trying. In my opinion they are incompetent muppets and I'm looking elsewhere.

    I found this review helpful because... in a very sad way, there is comfort in knowing its not just me. Sadly though is there any light at the end of the tunnel, does anyone care enough at Nat West to change things? I just want honest straight forward online banking for my small business, just like I have experienced for many happy years with my personal finances with First Direct.
