Good Points

Only one good point - its cheap


Bad Points

withing 1 year the program selector failed leaving it stuck on a 40 degree wash no matter what you selected. Now after 18 months the drum bearings are failing and the noise on full spin is frightening - any time now its going to wrench itself away from the housings


General Comments

I needed a washer, cheap and quick.
B&Q were selling these Indesit WIA121 at around £179.

I installed it and noticed immediately that the motor was noisy
Nothing you can complain about - or take back for - it just made a loud electrical buzzing sound on normal rotating. (in fact it was louder on the anti-clockwise rotation than the clockwise)

It washed the clothes perfectly well - but I always say, washing clothes is not really science - roll them around in hot soapy water for a while - rinse and drain and spin. (i realise its more in depth than that - but its basically right)
Read the faults with this washer above - maybe I got a rouge one but whatever - it has only lasted 18 months and soon will be residing at the local tip
