General Comments

Never has the phrase "you get what you pay for" more apt than with this machine. Replacing the Nordic Track CX 650 (see my other review) with the Kettler emphasised the gulf in quality between the two machines, from the packaging to the operation. This machine runs smoothly and with barely a sound. The display gives you everything you need; Time, Calories, Power, Distance etc. without having to continuously press buttons to get the readout you want. There are plenty of programmes to choose from, although some of the individual settings for the cerebrally challenged (me!) are a little difficult to grasp initially. My only real gripe is that there is nowhere to put a water bottle - I'm all for minimalist efficiency but I'm sure this could be easily included in the package.
OK, it's £220 more than the Nordic Track but you will be getting a quality cross trainer that could give commercial machines a run for their money. Most manufacturers are offering the CTR3 as a free upgrade to the Mondeo, which has also received good reviews.
