Good Points

Interior is well laid-out and durable. Plenty of room for those large milk bottles in the door, and the fridge shelves can be easily moved to accommodate tall items. There is a large ice tray which dispenses into a container. Freezer drawers are a good size, and well made.


Bad Points

The unit I have owned did not last long enough and was practically unrepairable.


General Comments

I was very pleased whilst this Samsung RL36SBSW was working, and would have given it an 8 or 9 out of 10... Having owned this for just 4 years, it has stopped cooling properly. Even worse, I have phoned five local repair companies and they all said they will not repair a Samsung due to issues with the parts.

The unit often made some very strange, often loud, cracking noises, after finishing a cooling cycle. 4 years is not a good enough lifetime, not by a long way, and many repair folk apparently won't touch it.
