Good Points

Beautiful looks, hatchback practicality, reliability, equipment, economy.


Bad Points

Cabin a bit boomy, road noise, low seating position won't suit everybody. Alloys prone to pitting.


General Comments

I have an '02 140bhp model, bought only a few weeks ago, & I love it already. It turns heads, is stuffed with goodies (with sport/premium pack), is quite quick, & offers tons of carrying capacity with fold-down rear seats. I've managed to achieve a respectable 36mpg, pretty good for a sports car; also, it won't break down, because it's a Toyota.
Visibility is a bit restricted & you can't see the end of the bonnet, with the low-slung seat, but that's just a minor gripe. The cabin's rather boomy, & it could have done with more soundproofing, again a minor irritation.
Overall, this is a fantastic car, which makes me smile every time I use it.
