General Comments
Always had sports bikes since i was sixteen up until march this year when i decided i want to do some touring,so sold the Aprilia RSV-R and started looking for a tourer,did'nt even contemplate a K1200RS until my BMW mad friend told me there was one for sale locally...I bought it with the intention of touring coming back and selling it.....BUT something strange has happened after travelling across europe (dubrovnik & back 5000mls) i really cannot see any reason in the world to sell it ..it did 15laps of the Nurburg ring leaving a massive smile on my face because its not really a sports bike but it did bounce and wollow around suprising some of the pocket rocket boys ......It carried my wife and our luggage and still felt very stable but heavy in all conditions and the bike did not miss a beat ..so all in all i think i have one of the best bike packages around...no more sports bikes for me ..well i am nearly 50 :-).(maybe just a track bike)
