Good Points

Well organised catering and bar service, clean room and well serviced daily, helpful desk staff, restaurant staff courteous and helpful, very satisfied with our holiday with everything all in all.


Bad Points

Although our room was large and spacious our only complaint was that we had upgraded for a lake view room at the cost of £76 and ended up with a room at the side of the hotel with mainly roofs in front of our window with the lake in the background or if you leant out of the window you could see another small piece of lake view!! When complaining at the desk we were told that this room is designated as a lake view which was definitely stretching the point to the extreme! This should be renamed as a side view room at a reduced price. The bathroom was a bit tired and not very well lit but no slip mat was supplied for the over the bath shower which could be dangerous for less infirm guests getting in and out.


General Comments

You couldn't complain about value for money as we were on a Shearings All-inclusive deal which was very good. Yes we know that it was really full of the older persons but then we are one of them anyway it did not make any difference to our holiday and elderly people are usually more polite and friendly! The area is beautiful and scenic and getting about is easy and not too expensive.
