Good Points
Fantastic full sound.
Easy and playable neck.
Looks.
Versatile.
Stock pick ups are top quality and provide a great sound.
A guitar you will probably keep for a long time.

Bad Points
Price, this aint a cheap guitar.
Quality on some gibson guitars can be questionable so its best to shop around and try as many as you can before parting with your cash.

General Comments
Had my Les Paul since 2004 (now 2008) loved every second playing this guitar live or in the studio. I can't stress enough that if you're shopping for a Les Paul please make sure you don't buy the first one you come across unless you know what to look for, some Gibsons i have come across have had questionable quality, such as unfinished frets, Nuts not cut to the right quality, inperfections in the finish. I would strongly advise not to go for any Les Paul lower then the standard model.

I found this review helpful because...there are a lot of models and i am weary of this.
