Ok on fuel, quick but not ferociously so, practical, cheap comfy in all respects bar one (see below)
A little ugly, made my derriere hurt something chronic on a 500 mile ride
I went down to Bournemouth from Liverpool to pick one of these up for a mate and got lost on the way home, so did a quick bite of M25 on a Friday afternoon in awful traffic (what other kind of traffic is there on the M25?)
What can I say? it doesn't go like a GSXR 750, so don't expect it to. It's a lot more flexible though, you can potter at 30 in 6th and just wind the throttle open and it just goes. Not sure how fast it is, I never took it over a ton 20 but 140 sounds about right.
It's not as comfortable as a proper tourer though it does the job for the occasional long jaunt. In fact it was crippling in the posterior department for me, I usually ride a 650 freewind which is a much more relaxed riding position, but this is almost certainly not true of everyone. I've never ridden a "sports tourer" that could cut it on a long haul though.
All in all, a very easy bike to ride, any noob could swing a leg over it and chuck it around with great confidence, it's very forgiving.
