Universal is a great place for people who enjoy fast-paced rides, and the adrenaline rush! It's manageable in a day visit, but the park closes much too early....6pm! There was no time to stop in between, so make sure you get to the park as soon as it opens in the morning! While visiting from PA with my husband in September, 2008, we went on the ride "Disaster", at the end of the day, and were stuck inside the "subway-like" car for over an hour due to a malfunction. We were not permitted to leave the ride on our own, and were not told what was going on. It was 90 degrees, no air was running, the light was dim, and we were only given a free pass to the same ride for the next day! I am a diabetic, I was in there for over an hour, without water, no air was circulating, and I was faint. We went straight to the Guest Services office and complained that we were owed more than what was offered to us for our aggravation. We lost an entire hour in the park, and went through a very traumatic event! They were not willing to give us anything at first, and not until we, and maybe twenty other people that suffered along with us, fought them to reimburse us for our days ticket, which is not inexpensive, and would not be asking too much, since they bring in a ton of money each day without incident! The one thing I would stress to Universal, is to train customer service people to listen to the customer and the situation, each one is different and more serious than others, and give their money back, or reimburse without question! This incident has turned me off to Universal, and has made me realize that Disney is much more customer-friendly, and much more accomodating! Very adventureous atmosphere, clean park with everything in manageable walking distance.......
