Louise Rennison's Angus, Thongs and Full-frontal Snogging is a humouros book, light hearted and a typical teenager. There are many bits which make you want to roll your eyes as you see yourself within the pages. Louis Rennison strikes us with her teenage wit, and leaves us stifiling for a quick giggle. The actions in the book are seen everyday, especially in schools. As I said it's a light hearted book which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Not very challenging reading material (as the others in the series are not) so don't read it if you are looking for something to dive into, more bath and bedtime reading. It's a good first book, in which Georgia describes her life situations. Her friends all have comical values and get, more so as the series progress'. She deals with typical day to day teenage problems-big boobs, boys, friends, parents etc. We can identify with her and see ourselves in her. She brings humour and hilariarity to problems in teenage life. A must read for girls to get you through the hard times of school!
