Good Points

The trigger is excellent, with a nice, clean break and smooth creep-free action. The pellet release is clean and smooth, with no spring noise and no noticeable dieselling. The impact is clean and authoritative - this is a powerful rifle, even in .177, but the cocking effort isn't excessive.

Very attractive walnut with nice checkering.

Single-hole groups at 20 metres using Air Arms Field pellets - haven't had the chance to take the rifle afield yet.


Bad Points

A little heavy, although that cuts down on recoil.

The beartrap mechanism sometimes gets stuck, and you have to faff around trying to free up the underlever.

I sometimes line up a shot and forget to reset the safety... still, that's my fault!


General Comments

I love this rifle. It's the first air rifle I've ever owned, and I can't say I'm disappointed.

I would recommend this rifle to anyone.
