General Comments

I've flown KLM more times than I can count. They are my normal choice for all trans-atlantic flights. They are friendly, service is great, food is pretty good, non-stop drinks. Amsterdam airport is one of my favourites, it's bright, clean and really easy to find your way around. The few times I've ran into cancellations or delays, they have promptly helped out and given their booklet of goodies, inc 5-min phone card, discount on food and drinks at the airport, etc. Flights are almost always early. I've always felt like a valued customer to them. The only real drawbacks are that they dont have any seatback tvs on the AMS-YVR flight, which is over 10hrs, and that if you book via their website, the economy tickets only give 25% frequeny flyer miles. Which just means I don't book via their website.
All in all, my favourite economy airline, especially for trans-atlantic flights.
