Good Points

Powerful Briggs and Stratton engine. Good build quality -steel deck. Optional mulch setting. Optional side discharge shute - very good. Grass collection to bag good even when grass is damp. Handle folds flat for storage.

Bad Points

Each wheel has to be individually adjusted when changing height - very fiddly. There is no choke setting - to start you have to prime the engine by pressing a bulb 3 times. There is no throttle, so no speed control is available. The big proviso with this mower however is that it is front wheel drive. This causes big manoeuvrability problems when you are turning and there is also a tendancy for the wheels to lose grip even in dry conditions especially when the grass bag fills up and adds weight to the back end. Not good on long grass, especially when wet.

General Comments

If you're buying on ebay where there are two suppliers selling these Toro 20065 Petrol Self-Propelled Lawn Mowers brand new, bear in mind that they have now been superceded and don't spend more than £290 exclusive of carriage. At this price not bad value. I would however not recommend them if you have any kind of slope as the front wheels tend to spin if there is any moisture on the grass.
