Excellent cleanliness. Rooms cleaned and bedding changed every day. Food excellent and plentiful. Staff polite and friendly.
Bad Points
Wine and beverage prices were hugely inflated v's local supermarkets or restaurants. Not allowed to drink own beverages with meals.
General Comments
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Miami in the last week of September 08. The weather was mainly very good with a good deal (4 days ) of sunshine. Our balcony got the sun in the afternoon which was extremely warm and welcomed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the cleaners were excellent. Rooms were fairly spacious albeit basic, but kept clean daily by the maids. The food was excellent and plentiful for half board guests like ourselves. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and after a quick visit to the 'Tobacchi' (tobaconist) shop to get our bus tickets, we were in Venice within 30 minutes. The tickets were 20 euros and 80 cents and included all transfers within Venice. Very good value!. I thoroughly recommend staying at Hotel Miami and we shall definitely be going back soon.
