Good Points

Fit and finish rival that of any of my center fire rifles -shoots great- a rifle that I'm proud to own!

Bad Points

The only one I can find is the 350 MAGNUM etched into the right side of the rifle

General Comments

To start with I have various rim-fire and center fire guns along with shot guns and blackpowder. I haven't used them in years due to a wide variety of reasons. While making the x-mas returns I happened to be in a sports store and decided to look at pellet rifles, my wife took notice of this and encouraged me to buy one-go figure. I walked out with a gamo 440 with scope. Once home I set up targets in my backyard and got down to business, herein lies the problem-I've always loved to shoot starting 40yrs ago with my trusty Crosman 760, now I had a modern pellet rifle that I could venture out to my backyard and start plinking away, the joy was overwhelming. My joy soon turned sour as after 500 rounds through the Gamo I had broken a scope ring and had to constantly retighten the stock, not to mention the accuracy of the gamo was not good. I packed it up and returned it. After doing some research I ordered the 350. It was twice the cost, but lets take a harder look--I was only going to own one pellet rifle, which one would be "more" expensive, the gamo which would soon be collecting dust or the 350 that I would want to shoot every chance I got-it was a no brainer I got the 350. I have mounted a good scope aon it and after a littke tweaking I am amazed at how accurate this rifle is. I don't know too much about shooting tight groups but after a little use I can put my shots in the bullseye time after time. I started using the gamo pellets but changed over to Beeman crow magnums which were more predictiable. I have on order 5000 crossman premier heavy. A good web site to go to is straight shooters-they have velocity charts on over 25 pellets shot thru the 350. I've read alot about the "break in period" and out of the box I was truly impressed by the 350. If it 's going to shoot even better after the breakin well- thats more pleasure than a married man could imagine. If any interest I will keep you posted on progress--happy shooting!!

I found this review very helpful because.I'm thinking of buying one.I just tried a .22 cal.Remington Summit, two actually, returned both because they shot so inaccurate. I guess you get what you pay for. I am going to give the rws 350 a try, and hope it groups like my two other .177 cal. spring guns...
