General Comments

My wife and I choose fitted bedroom furniture for our son. MFI came out to our home a measured up which allowed us to choose the units we wanted. We paid £950 for various items. MFI eventually turned up after I waited in three times and they failed to show only to discover the items didn't actually fit in the room!! We made the decision to fit what we could meaning 1 of the 2 wardrobes and a chest of draws went back in the garage. The bad part came next. We contacted MFI expecting at least an apology and a refund for the items we wanted to return. It was after all their fault.

Also they don't employ there own fitters so we paid over the odds for some guy I could have picked from the local paper.

They said they pick up the items and again never showed. What followed was actually dozens of hours of phone calls, on hold and being passed around. Lots of writing Emails and letters and not even receiving a reply. Some guy in the call centre actually said "tough!"

The end result is I have paid a lot of money for furniture not even of a very high quality half of which is still in my garage.
