Versatile
No Known multi-region hack.
I mistakenly bought the Alba 103Xi thinking that it was the same as the 103 and fairly quickly found out that the multi-region remote codes for the 103 don't work on it so beware.
HOWEVER and this is a big however, it seems to play just about anything - I have used the following in it successfully: VCD, SVCD, XVCD, DVD, MP3 and audio CD. It also reads 99 min CDs, CDRWs and CDRs so it has to be about the most versatile player around. The only thing it won't play is miniDVD (i.e. DVD format but burned on a CD).
Anyone who knows how to multi-region this should let me know as this will make it the perfect player.
