General Comments

Got to say my first bike and loving it... ride it below 7000 revs and it ' s a sensible bike... then experiment with the gears and the 14000 revs and you ' ll start to appreciate the fun the bike can produce. Wow. Sheep in wools clothing... this bike has many opinions from the novice to the experienced... but I'm telling you... NICE! My mate has a R1 and nails it everywhere. Great. 0=60 in 3 seconds... wow super quick... but self confesses that he drives to the max every ride.... not so wow! I like to tell folks that I can ride sensibly and get 55mpg plus... then when they scoff mention that i can do 0-60 in 3.5 secs they soon shut up... now that ' s cool and to be honest that's the bike.... you can ride like an idiot and she will do you proud.. And she will ride averagely and still do you proud. As for the ride... the bike performs really well, too be honest the mistakes are more down to my lack of concentration then the actual handling of the bike. But she is well balanced. Traffic riding is balanced and responsive I have to tell you this....when you ' re a novice rider you like to nod and wave at every biker to affirm your place in the biker community... which is to be encouraged. however as I have learnt ...DONT do this as your approaching an island...and have to swerve to avoid it...NOT cool! I ' m getting confident every day and this is purely down to confidence in the bike... not my riding...I rode 125 years ago and this is my first big bike. And the revs scared me too start. But now with trust. Its ace. The bike never fails to deliver and can get you out of most situations...and when it all goes wrong... lean a bit more.... worked for me today when the corner was running out....phew!
