General Comments
How the mighty fall from grace, a couple of years ago these guys were great. My new ISP told me why - they were bought out by Kingston a while back - it all makes sense.
Paying for 8Mbps but never got more than 4.8 it seems and usually 3.5-4 even at quiet times. They used to brag about contention ratios etc but this doesn't seem to be a selling point now.
Unhelpful customer service now - personally not happy with the staff. To be fair I asked for my MAC code after I felt I received no help and one staff member was fabulously knowledgeable and helpful and I held back. But subsequent problems with a migration - they're charging me a disconn fee after FOUR YEARS with them, but to be honest it will be worth it. If they carry on being this poor in my opinion, that will be their main source of revenue.
