Interesting plot with many twists and, as with The House at Riverton, one is not certain of the outcome till the very end. Very intelligent writing.
Bad Points
Knowledge of birds. Swallows are not brown and do not flit among the branches of trees. No dawn chorus in Autumn either!
General Comments
A very good read, only spoilt for me by Kate's lack of knowledge and research into the behaviour of British birds. She weaves a very clever plot which keeps you guessing until the end. I like her intelligent, detailed style of writing which would suggest she is older than she actually is.
