Good Points

Clean and well maintained hotel, beautiful traditional style decor. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was lovely and plenty choice, also plenty snacks between meals - even our fussy 8 year old ate well all week, and not an upset tummy between the 3 of us... Ideal location on private beach, in self-contained resort shared with another 2 or 3 hotels/apartments. Beautiful clean beach, white sand, and clear shallow water


Bad Points

Weather (we chose the wrong week it seems! weather was lovely the week before and the day we left!). Wasps - many of these little critters, however they don't bother you if you don't bother them, and nothing a little insect repellant/citronella oil won't fix. Rude fellow brits!!! - the constant moaning and fault-picking of fellow holidaymakers about anything and everything was what spoiled our holiday. We could find no faults with the hotel, staff or resort, some people aren't happy unless they're having a moan, and to be quite honest it can be quite embarrassing at times when staff are going out of their way to do their very best and people are turning their noses up and making rude comments right in front of them!!!!


General Comments

We spent weeks before we went on the phone to First Choice trying to change our holiday with no luck, after reading many bad reviews in the month of August. However we are so glad First Choice insisted in sending us, as we had a fantastic holiday despite the weather, and would definitely return, to Bulgaria, and to the Royal Park Hotel. The hotel was beautiful and spotlessly clean, as was the beach, couldn't understand what everyone was complaining about regarding the food, we ate well all week, as did our fussy 8 year old, no complaints there. Staff very friendly and helpful when treated with respect - a smile and a please/thank you can work wonders! All in all, a holiday is what you make it, and if you go to have a good holiday and enjoy yourself then you will, if you go to pick faults then you will just spoil things for yourself and everyone around you...
