Good Points

Chef and Brewer, Cross Keys Upsall, Guisborough Cleveland.
Lovely looking pub very clean. Visited 8pm Saturday 20th Sept 2008


General Comments

Ran out of large wine glasses at 7.30pm when apparently only few people in pub.
White wine served warm
Ran out of wine ordered a little later so had to order another brand which was also served warm.
I felt the oysters for starters were very badly prepared, no juice inside them, overly cold and appeared as though they had been in fridge all day, crushed shells in each oyster.
In my opinion, all main meals were small portions, poorly cooked, sirloin was barely edible.
Ran out of cheese and biscuits (How come?)

8 people met for a reunion, we had a good laugh and enjoyed a trip down memory lane. However we thought the service, wine and food were very poor.
Bill was over £200, and we had to leave at 11.20pm being told to wait outside as they had to close up.
Will never go back and definitely don't recommend
