Good Points

Multifunction - can use microwave with fan-forced heat or grill (in most brands they alternate quickly), so you can cook really quickly and brown at the same time. The grill and fan-forced element work really well.


Bad Points

The chip in the first one we had was faulty and it used to swap the functions of the buttons around at random.


General Comments

think the AEG Micromat Combi 635 is a good idea but quality control was bad. We had the repair man out many times and he couldn't fix it, so after many "fights" with the agents over the phone, they agreed to replace it. But the replacement also suffered chip problems. While using the microwave it would bring up an error message and stop working. Since we could reset it by turning off the circuit breaker, and some of the agents had been rude and unhelpful we put up with it, but now it won't even reset. AEG should have recalled them all I think.
