Good Points

Easy to work on relaibility the looks and the noise.


Bad Points

Fuel range 110 miles per tank.


General Comments

I've just began riding again after an 11 year break, My last bike was a very old yam 350LC, but am now a lot older can afford the insurance and to run both car and bike so I thought why not. I ' ve had my VTR 1000 Firestorm about 2 months now, mainly for commuting (didn't know about the fuel range before I bought) basically I looked through the web and just decided to buy one. 2 reasons First I wanted a Hondo just purely for the reliability factor and 2nd its looks just blew me away. I know this isn't really a good reason to buy but when I went and took the bike for a test ride (first time back on a bike after 11 years remember) I just took to it like a duck to water, and what can I say about the noise, It's a 98 model fitted with scorpion cans (baffles removed) and just sounds fantastic. Like I say I bought this bike on an impulse and have done a few 1000 miles and it still making me smile.
