Overall Rating

4.5 stars
  • Value for money
    5 stars
Good Points

- Full metal slide and frame
- Proper Licensed Walther trademarks
- Realistic blowback action (about the same recoil as a .22 pistol)
- Small enough to fit into pockets (without people knowing)

Bad Points

- Obtrusive CO2 screw
- Not highly accurate (but still accurate enough)
- Plastic barrel and a few other parts on the frame

General Comments

Don't listen to all that junk people have babled on about this awesome gun. I've found this to be the BEST CO2 pistol I have ever owned.

The MOST fun I've ever had from shooting an air pistol came from this Walther PPK. With realistic blowback action and recoil, this gun is bound to entertain even the most unenthusiastic shooters. I carry mine occasionally for light self defense as it is powerful enough to leave horrible welts but not enough to pierce skin (I don't really want to kill anyone even if they attacked me). I find my PPK the most useful gun as the velocity is JUST right for me. I would recommend this pistol to ANYONE that is looking for an extremely fun gun that can be used for light self defense as it can EASILY fit into pockets without leaving an OBVIOUS print in your pants (something that Glock pistols, even compact ones are proned to do as they are really thick).

I totally agree with this review. This BB gun is fun to shoot (addictive, even), accurate enough if you take the time to learn how it shoots (it's possible to put multiple shots in the same hole at 4-5 yards or so--maybe farther, but I'm still learning this gun), and feels real without busting your eardrums. It's actually heavier than my carry gun, which is a polymer/metal combo.

One point where I think this review is mistaken. He says it's got a plastic barrel. It's actually got a brass barrel with a plastic shroud. You can see this if you look at the barrel head on (make sure it's unloaded first, of course).

Please, please don't ever think a BB pistol is useful for self defense.
