I ordered a desk from computerdesk.com; it can be a pain to order things online since I have an APO (Army Post Office) address, but their drop-down state selection menu and shipping quote for my specific zip code reflected that they ship to APOs. When I received an email the following day saying the desk could not be shipped to an APO, I emailed customer service to point out the error on their website and ask them to make an exception - and if they couldn't, I told them they needed to fix the problem on their site (they had, after all, already debited the money for my order even though they couldn't fill it).
Here is the response I got: ...it is not up to us where items can be shipped, Fed Ex does not allow shipments to military bases. If you have a problem with the rules you may want to contact Fed Ex...
Needless to say, I will never attempt to do business with this company again!
