Good Points

Very fast operation, especially flash pictures, as quick, or quicker, than my DSLR!
Still very good picture quality, even compared to more recent Fuji models, and fast auto focus.Well made.
A modern digital classic, which compares well with many of today's models.

Bad Points

ONLY 6X ZOOM,wide angle not wide enough, small 1.8 in rear screen, although nice and sharp.
Quite bulky, but still lighter than a DSLR and an equivalent 200mm lens

General Comments

I had a Fuji S602 zoom a few years ago, and took many great photos with it and printed plenty of colourful sharp A4 prints with it.
I sold it to upgrade to a digital SLR, and bought a Canon 300d,which produced great images, but I found it heavy, compared to my Fuji.
I thought the Fuji colours were better than the Canon, and the prints at A4,were just as good,in my opinion.
I Sold the Canon and bought a Nikon D40,which again, produced great photoes, but when I saw a Fuji S7000 on Ebay,at a great price,I jumped at it,and now often take it,when I just don't fancy the weight of the D40 kit,
It still has a small 1.8in screen, but is easy to use,and can output great 12mp prints, and is just great to use.
If it had a more modern 12x zoom lens, offering 28mm at the wide angle end,it would be more than a match for today's super-zooms,in my view.
Still a 6x zoom is still very useful, and plenty for 95% of my pictures,
The S7000 still makes a great second hand buy,and can be found at reasonable prices on Ebay.
