Good Points

My family went to this hotel on the 2nd September to 16th 2008. I booked it in January 2008. The cost was £1040 Hotel is right in the middle of everything, 5 min walk to beach,
The best pool i have ever been in. 1 small pool for the babies, 1 other small pool for 4 - 12 years and 1 extra large pool for everyone else. Accommodation was basic and clean. It had a toaster & kettle. Electric cooker but no grill. No air con.
When I read about other reviews I was put off a bit. But I was told to e-mail the hotel that I wanted a quiet room with a pool view because I had 2 small children 3 & 5. I also phoned Thomson's to ask them to e-mail the hotel as well. And that is what I got. If you haven't got a pool view you will be looking into the Jungula Apartments (18-30). or the roofs of the bars and restaurants.

Bad Points

The entertainment was a bit cheesy but what do you expect for a family hotel.
I know you had a job to get a sun lounger in the mornings but that didn't affect us because we went out for walks and to the beach (wow what a beach) in the mornings but when we came back at 2 o'clock ish there was always sun beds available. No entertainment in the bars like singers or a comedians etc.

General Comments

For the price I paid I could not wish for better.
As for Magaluf & Palma, not much entertainment around.
Places to go is up to you, but we went to Benny Hills a lot.
Places to eat we went to The Happy House a lot which is on the beach front, next to Tom Browns, they are very friendly and you get a lot of stuff with your meal like free glass of wine or a free lager, kids get free ice cream and a lollipop, and there is a small arcade for them to play while your waiting.
Other places we found to eat was The Cottage and Jokers both right by the hotel.
I wouldn't go back there for a few years till my children are older.
I found it very expensive to drink and to eat for the four of us, next time it will be Half Board or All Inclusive.
