Power, the most powerful bike I've ever owned and I have owed lots of R1's! Above 100mph that Ram air really kicks in - what a rush! and 3rd gear wheelies can be achieved pretty easily. I have no problems with the handling either its very confidence inspiring and real fun to ride.
Bad Points
THE BRAKES! Rubbish and a real disapointment. ok they work at first, but ride how the bike was designed to be ridden and they fade and fade till your at the bars! and thats no good with a motor which can shoot you towards a corner at amazing speed.
General Comments
Its a good bike overal and I have toured on it track day'ed it and commuted on it. Its can do the lot. The power is amazing and handles great - but those brakes! Kawasaki should be ashamed of putting out a bike now a days with such poor quality brakes. My R1 2001 out performs these items!
