Good Points

This well told biography is a moving and personal account of an amazing rollercoaster of a life. The poignant photos serve as a reminder, as if the words were not enough, of the ups and the downs of this amazingly talented footballer. Best talks of the state of the game then and now and of the key players and managers at United.

General Comments

George Bests autobiography-talented, courted by the press, revered by his fans, idol of multiple Miss Worlds but eventually broken by alcohol, Best was everything that typified the glamour and excesses of his time. In this book, Best candidly recounts his story. Highs and lows, all is here including the now legendary public humiliation on Wogan in 1990.
