General Comments

I have owned my 60gb PS3 since the day of release and love it. I'm on it most day either gaming, watching movies or downloading PSP games & demos. The PS3 is so user freindly and has so much more to offer than any other. The 60gb will play most PS2 and PS1 games but unfortunatly the later 40gb and 80gb won't (they say a update should sort this out at xmas).
I can't understand why anyone would say that a 360 is better, the PS3's graphics are much better, there game catalog is getting bigger every week. You might find that PS3 games are realeased slightly after the 360 and there is a good reason for this, the 360 is a much simpler machine and doesn't have as good graphics, the PS3 win hands down.
Another advantage the PS3 has over the 360 is the online side of things, the PS3 has a free service and no pay as you go. On the Playstation Network you can download playable demos, full games for the PS3 and PSP (which you pay for, but you wouldn't expect free, would you?), game and movie trailers and loads more. Also coming to the UK soon you will be able to download to rent full movies in both standard and High Definition.
You can also use the PS3 for your internet browser, and if you fill really adventures you can load on another operating program (windows, Linux etc...).
And to the last great thing about the PS3, Blu-Ray player. This machine will play your blu-ray to the best standard possible 1080p, this can't be beaten.
As for the PRICE, people are always saying that the PS3 is expensive, this is not true, you just need to look at what your getting. Yes you can get a 360 for less, but everything is extra, wireless and HD-DVD for examples, but who wants HD-DVD anyway?? It has been axed, what a silly idea 360 had to realse that, money straight in the bin.
After all that said, the PS3 can;t be beating and the price isn't that bad, the best of the best!

I totally agree. I have the 80gb but unfortunately there is no backwards compatabilty. I used to own an xbox 360 elite. It broke after 7 months. The xbox 360 is very unreliable and I have not had a problem with my ps3. I prefer it and im glad that I sold my xbox elite for a ps3.
