Good Points

Large friendly hostel. Helpful reception staff. Large shared communal kitchen and lounge area with TV. Bar and pool area. Arrange nights out with other hostels. Large spacious rooms with separate shower and bathroom facilities.


Bad Points

In Southport about 15 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise


General Comments

This is a great run hostel and you definitely feel at home the moment you walk through the door. Every one of the staff is friendly and helpful with information of places to go and things to see. We booked to go to Australia Zoo with the hostel which included transfers which was great.
Its has a smallish shopping centre about a 10minute walk with a supermarket, shops and a cinema complex. However it is about 15 minutes drive from surfers paradise so there's not much going on there at night, however the hostel has its own bus which is free to get in and out of surfers between 6am and 8pm.
Overall its a great place to stay and I would recommend it to others travelling through the gold coast.
