We have just got back from a weeks holiday in Port Des Torrent, Ibiza and stayed in the Sea View Sirenis Country Club hotel. It was excellent.
Port Des Torrent itself was a small and relaxed resort with just a few bars and restaurants however, it was only a 20 minute (max) walk into San Antonio Bay where there was a lot more going on. You could also catch a bus which left the hotel every hour and it only took 30 minutes to go into San Antonio Town which was where all the major night life was i.e. all the clubs.
The hotel itself was very clean and tidy, there was a maid service every day. It had a restaurant however, we did not get chance to eat in this. There were two pool side bars, the main one was great for drinks and lunch time snacks i.e. burgers and chips and things. The pool was fantastic, staff friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfect for all ages, we are a young couple and enjoyed it, there was also many families there. There was entertainment by the pool day and night, great for the kids and also adults. We watched a group of acrobats from Beijing on stage one evening, parrot and owl shows, quizes, dancers and singers and loads more.
The beach is literally round the corner from the hotel, small and quiet with a few bars on the beach front. Sun beds were priced at 6e for the full day. The actual sea bed was quite rocky but the water was clear. Plenty of water sports available.
We were expecting Ibiza to be expensive but it wasn't too bad. The bus into town was 1.45 euro, on average two alcoholic drinks were 7 euro's and a meal usually set you back about 12 euro unless you went to an expensive restaurant - watch the drink prices in these places!! Bully's Bar is right on the beach and great for breakfast and pizza's. If you like chinese food you must go to the Slow Boat in the bay (just on the right as you are walking down).
All in all, we had no complaints and would recommend and go back.
