General Comments

This is a great album. Ne-Yo is such a great songwriter and is so versatile. While his first two singles, Closer and Miss Independent, are more upbeat, he takes most of his other songs and makes them slower songs, more like love songs. My favorite song is So You Can Cry. It is a song about a girl who has just been dumped and Ne-yo is trying to comfort her by saying life is short and you should just move on. Overall, I think this is his best album yet.
