Good Points

Good attractions and rides- all very close to the US disney. Smiley staff - all very well done.- but always an imitation.

Bad Points

Hugely expensive compared to the US!

General Comments

Don't even consider Disneyland Paris if you can go to the US. I would have rated disney paris 8/10 just after leaving but only 2/10 after being stateside. There are a lot of hidden big costs in paris. I was in a group of 5 (granny plus 2 adults and 2 kids) and our first lunch or admittedly good burgers and ice cream inside the park itself cost 120 euros or about £80. We had to pay about £50 for the return fare on the bus to disney from CDG airport. CDG is a complete rip off. Any UK airport I have ever been in has places to eat past security. All CDG had was an expensive coffee/sandwich shop- £50 for juice and a snack!
Anyway back the park itself- The pool in the disney hotel was cramped and the photos have been very carefully taken. Our lake view from the hotel was of Scaffolding. The food in the hotel was rubbish and breakfast was the worst. Don't try the cooked breakfast - Yuek. We were searched going into the park and once in the rides were very good and the atmosphere good. Take hour long queues as a given and you will not be surprised. The thing I found worst was the merchandising and food. Everywhere were sweets loaded in e numbers and over priced rubbish food. Big contrast with legoland where every meal has a piece of fruit for kids. And in summer in lego land you can buy fruit and non fizzy drinks. We could not find anything like this in PD.Overall we spent about 3000 pound for 3 days in the park , 4 hotel nights, flights from the UK , food etc. We went just outside of term time, Can't imagine the queues any other time!
Now I have just come back from the US Disney and am desperate to go back, we spent a bit more , but over 14 days total. The staff were friendly- everything is in english and of course the yanks are much more demanding than the french for food and service, much much better
